Barbers, hot shaves and men’s waxing in San Jose. Who lists prices, and who makes you ask.
Short answer: a men’s cut in San Jose lists from $35 at Mario’s on Alum Rock Ave and $45 at Kingdom Cuts, and a straight-razor face shave lists at $60 at Kingdom Cuts. Need a hot towel face shave? Mario’s lists one at $50. Need a chest or back wax? Two European Wax Center locations publish the same price list, with a chest strip at $31. Most other shops below list their services and hours but not their prices, and we say so.
San Jose is big, spread out and run by Lincoln Ave in Willow Glen, Santana Row and a lot of one-chair shops you only find by asking a coworker. We went with places that publish something checkable and flagged everything we couldn’t confirm.
