Massage, stretch and recovery in Bakersfield. Real prices where they exist.

Short answer: a 60-minute massage at Massage Envy on Ming Ave. is listed at $80 for first-timers and $130 for non-members, and a 60-minute float at Salt7even is $55. Members pay $70 for 60 minutes at Massage Envy. Stretch Zone lists weekday hours to 8 PM, Hybrid Health Performance offers muscle therapy, cryotherapy and shockwave, and Salt7even takes float appointments seven days a week. Most of the rest of town is solo therapists we could not verify, so this list is short on purpose.

Bakersfield will happily sell you a long drive, a longer drive and a truck. A rubdown for the shoulders you earned in all that driving is harder to confirm online, so we only listed places with a real address and a page we could read.

Before you book

Make the first visit easy

Check the therapist, not the logo

In California, CAMTC certifies individual massage therapists, not businesses. Ask for your therapist’s CAMTC number and look it up with “Verify Certification” on camtc.org.

Ask what the intro price covers

Massage Envy’s page says first-time pricing varies by service and isn’t offered at every location. Confirm the number and the membership terms before you sign anything.

Read the membership terms

Salt7even’s memberships carry a 3-month minimum with automatic monthly billing. A single float or a package may suit a first visit better.
